How long does it take to ship my order?
All coffees are roasted to order. Please allow us up to two business days to put your order to roasting schedule and ship. We always try to ship your coffee as soon and fresh as possible but shipping and roasting schedules might affect lead time. We will notify you when your order has shipped. If you have not received notification past two business days, don't hesitate to contact us. (onlinesales@vandykecoffeeroasters.com).
Where do you ship?
Currently, we are shipping to contiguous US only. We do not ship to PO addresses.
What shipping options do you have?
We use USPS Priority Mail. USPS observes most national holidays which might affect shipping time.
Shipping Cost
We charge flat rate of $7 per order. Currently we are not providing in-store pickup yet - Please visit our offline store.
Payment Method
Currently we use Square, which works with most US-issued cards - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and UnionPay.
Return Policy
Coffee is a perishable product; we cannot accept returns on coffee. If you received a wrong order or experienced issues (for example: damage in transit) with your coffee, please let us know (onlinesales@vandykecoffeeroasters.com) within one week from receiving your order. We will gladly assist you with your concerns.

General Coffee FAQ
What is specialty coffee?
It is one of the coffee grade standards. A widely accepted grade standard is set by Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA). They have a set of criteria on coffee beans such as fragrance, acidity, body, aftertaste, and balance. Coffees score 80 points or above out of 100 are called specialty. Van Dyke Coffee Roasters uses specialty grade beans.
What is the best coffee you have?
Literally, it is up to you! Our philosophy is that there is no best coffee for everyone. Each customer has her/his own favorite flavor notes. One might like bright acidity and grapefruit notes, while the other wants something less acidic and earthy. Our recommendation is starting with the coffee description you like and expand to the other flavor territories, finally finding the best for you.
What is your roast level?
By conventional roasting levels, our coffees are medium roast (specific level varies among beans). Each bean has its own potential. It is roaster’s job to bring out the potential as much as possible. Some beans have fruity or flowery notes, while some have rich nutty and chocolaty flavors. Based on our experience, medium level roast could achieve the goal of roasting beans our customers love.
Do you have dark roast (French roast, Vienna roast)?
Currently, we do not offer very dark roasts such as French/Vienna. In our selections, Espresso and Colombia/Indonesia single origin beans are in the darker side in our selections. Many customers who wanted dark roast actually love them!
Do you have flavored coffee (Vanilla coffee, Hazelnut coffee)?
Sorry, we do not offer flavored beans though we do have flavored drinks on the menu. Coffee beans have their inherent flavor notes. Adding flavorings shades those delicate natural coffee flavors away. For this reason, we do not have a plan to provide flavored coffee beans.
Do you grind coffee?
Once ground, coffee loses its fragrance and flavor very quickly. For this reason, we only ship whole beans in our online store. Though we do not recommend, we can grind for offline customers per request.
I like your coffee X but I cannot find it in your store!
Our coffee offerings change over time following harvesting schedule. If you are looking for a specific kind, you should be able to find another one with similar coffee description.
Do you have Organic/Fair Trade coffee?
Please check description in our store for details. We are a small roaster shop so they are not always available.
